Project-based support

A simple project system, set up once and handed over properly

If your project needs a bit more structure, Cited can wrap a clean project management setup around it. We work with the tool you already use, or help you choose one, then get the basics in place so your team can run with it.

How it works

No retainer, no bloated transformation programme, no months of dependency. Just the right access, a practical setup, and two check-ins to make sure it sticks.

1

Quick setup call

We talk through the project, who needs to do what, what is already in place, and what access is needed. This is where we agree the simplest useful setup.

2

Tool and workflow setup

We configure the project management tool or software your team already uses, or set up the chosen tool from scratch with lists, boards, owners, deadlines, and handover notes.

3

Two follow-up calls

You get check-ins at 2 and 4 weeks to fix friction, tidy the workflow, answer questions, and make sure the system is actually helping rather than becoming another admin burden.

One-and-done support

This is designed for organisations that need a project to feel less scattered, but do not need an ongoing project manager on retainer. Once the setup is in place and the follow-ups are done, you own it.

  • Works around your tools. Trello, Notion, Asana, Airtable, Google Sheets, ClickUp, Monday, or whatever your team can realistically keep using.
  • Built around access. Give the right access after the setup call, and we can get the system into shape quickly.
  • No retainer. Project-based, honest, and scoped to setup plus immediate support.
  • Handover included. The goal is to leave you to it with enough structure and confidence to keep moving.

Good fit for

Grant-funded projects

When delivery, reporting, partners, and deadlines all need to stay visible without eating the project budget.

Small team delivery

When a few people are wearing too many hats and need one place to see tasks, owners, files, and next steps.

Creative and community work

When projects involve artists, venues, partners, volunteers, or funders and need a lightweight operating rhythm. This includes work with Sheffield City Opportunities CIC, where project structure needed to serve multiple community strands without adding management overhead.

"To keep events like this free for people like me is hugely valued. Practical, human and specific – I left with a clear plan."
