Built for organisations like yours

Good SEO knowledge has always existed — but it's been gatekept behind expensive tools and inaccessible language. Cited exists to change that. If you're a charity, community group, or grassroots organisation doing valuable work with limited resource, you deserve to be found.

The problem we solve

Search has changed. Visibility takes more than keywords and listings. Here's the gap we fill.

The old way doesn't work

Keyword stuffing, directory spam, and unedited AI content actively hurt your visibility. Many sites have lost rankings following recent search engine updates. Charities and small organisations are hit hardest because they can't afford to waste limited volunteer time on outdated tactics.

AI has changed the rules

Most small teams are being sold vague AI promises while still drowning in repeated admin, messy planning, and scattered notes. LLMs are useful, but only when they become clear workflows your team can repeat and trust.

What we do differently

We focus on credibility, not volume. Building genuine authority through E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust) means your organisation becomes a trusted source that both search engines and AI systems want to cite. Focused, practical steps beat scattergun tactics every time.

Built for grassroots organisations

We work with charities, arts organisations, community groups, and voluntary sector teams. Our sessions assume zero prior knowledge and are designed around the reality of stretched capacity and limited budgets. You leave with practical actions, free tools, and a clear plan — no strings attached.

How we can help

Everything is shaped around your organisation's needs and capacity. Whether you're a charity, community group, or arts organisation — we'll find the right fit.

Concessionary rates for charities and community groups. Pro-bono work is available for organisations in genuine need. No contracts, no commitments.

Built on real experience

Years of speaking at industry conferences, sitting on expert panels, and facilitating workshops that turn search theory into practical action. A consistent thread throughout: a belief that this knowledge should be accessible to everyone, not just those with big budgets.

Cited grew from that belief. It exists because charities and grassroots organisations deserve access to the same quality of thinking — shared freely, in plain language, and designed around how small teams actually work.
